The course will help teachers understand better the concepts of STEAME (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Entrepreneurship)
and how these can be implemented through Learning and Creativity Plans. The teachers will be introduced to useful plans ready to be applied in the school environment.
They will be introduced to solutions on how teacher teams can work together in supporting project based work by students and how hybrid environments can be supported.
The access and use of the STEAME Observatory, science communication and reporting methods for developing papers for the Journal of STEAME creations for and by school
students will be covered. Hands-on development of Learning & Creativity plans and more elements that teachers need in order to create STEAME activities in their school.
The course consists of the following modules:
Introduction to the STEAME course and STEAME Observatory
Module 1-2. How to construct Learning &Creativity plans
Module 3. How teachers can work together (18 steps prototype and other aspects)
Module 4. How to help teachers and students work online (Hybrid environments)
Module 5. How to support students in making oral presentations
Module 6. How to write papers/reports
Module 7. How to work on projects (Inquiry Based Learning, Project Based Learning)
Module 8. How to work on projects (peer questions)
Module 9. How to develop STEAME schools (Type A and Type B Schools, survey results)
Module 10. Evaluating STEAME project/activities work of students (Evaluation rubrics etc)
Module 11-12: Course Assignment hands on development of a L&C Plan
Closure: Presentations by cooperating trainees, Peer Evaluation, Awarding of Certificates
